We support Cloud Database technologies to allow customers to store data in the format best suited for their solution. We support
- MongoDB – NOSQL document database
- PostgreSQL – SQL database
- MySQL – SQL database
- SQL Server – Microsoft SQL Database
All of these databases can be implemented within Amazon’s cloud database infrastructure . The database needed usually depends on:
- the type of data that is being stored (record based data vs object data),
- whether the customer has existing data stored in one form or the other
- future storage needs
